The Satori Strings Contest encourages the study of music, creates performing opportunities and enriches the culture of the community.

The Satori Strings Contest is sponsored by Amac Violin Center and Satori Strings Inc.

Students under the age of 19 years old are eligible to participate.

About the Satori Strings Contest

Join us in Arcadia, CA during the weekend of 15, 16 of July 2006 for the Satori String Contest open to young musicians up to the age of 19, the finest players in over 150 performing categories will take home the prestigious Satori trophy. 

Contest areas include Prodigy, Open, Qualified and Jr. Qualified categories as well as small ensemble contests, Baroque and American music specialties.  Separate sections for Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass are further divided into specific age groups.  The top four finishers in each category and age group will take home a beautiful commemorative trophy.  Winners in the Collegiate and Prodigy categories may advance to the grand prize contest.  Entry fees start at $20 per category.  Contact Satori Strings for more information and your free entry package.
